Humans have gone above and beyond to improve their quality of life. This improvement has, however, not been without a price. The wildlife in the region suffers significantly as it loses access to more and more places as people occupy more and more land for ourselves and our cities.
People are now becoming aware of this reality because to a video that Indian Forest Services (IFS) employee Susanta Nanda posted on social media. On Tuesday, Mr. Nanda posted a video on Twitter that showed a wild tiger waiting for cars to pass before swiftly crossing the road and vanishing into the bush.
“This is how far the ‘development’ has taken our wildlife,” according to Mr. Nanda, who captioned the photo.

Unknown is the whereabouts of the undated video. The video has received more than 939.6K views and several likes since being shared.
People Reactions:
“This is dangerous and very terrible. Why are under passes not possible? What if he is struck by a fast car in the middle of the night? “questioned a user.
“In forested places, we ought to construct higher roadways. The expense might also be repaid in large part by creating elevated rest areas and viewing platforms that aid raised highways “proposed a different.
Another user said, “No, it’s us who have traversed the forests, their home, and their surroundings, not the tiger who is crossing the road. We must clearly define and delineate our borders.”
And a fourth says, “It’s time to come up with a strategy that elevates all highways that go through woods and protected areas, and to heck with the price, offers animal crossings every 750–1000 meters. We must take this action to safeguard our animals.”
This is heartbreaking …. Development chahiye but not at the cost of wildlife !!! Underpass or overpass kyun nahi ban sakte ????? @PMOIndia
