Water tankers from the NIPA and Safoora hydrants have reportedly been dispatched to the scene of the incident, according to representatives of the Karachi Water Board.
Three fire department units initially arrived at the scene in an effort to put out the fire.
To assist with the firefighting effort on the building’s top stories, extra firefighting vehicles were requested from all around the city due to the intensity of the fire.
According to her, the couple “tried to dominate her sexually inside the house,” she said.
It is believed that Draper, the housekeeper, and Vazquez, who told police they were in a “open relationship,” met through Lopez’s job as a cab driver.
It’s believed that he gave Draper “his Facebook information” after the two exchanged information.
Draper told police that she “told Steven he had a little d***” and that his wife had a “stank p****” but that the fateful evening would end in disaster.
She alleges that she was hit, had her hair pulled, and that a breezeblock was thrown through the back window of her car as she attempted to flee.
The couple meanwhile insist Draper refused to leave their home and as such were left with no option but to “forcefully” remove her.
“Picking her up and setting her down outside the front door of the residence,” they claimed, was required.
They claimed that after Draper turned her car around to face them and struck Vazquez in the leg, Lopez threw a brick through the car’s window.
Then, according to Vazquez, Draper “swung a closed fist at her, but missed” after getting out of her vehicle.
For throwing the brick, Lopez was charged with a felony; for allegedly hitting Draper, Vazquez was charged with a misdemeanour battery.
Lopez was released on bail, according to The Smoking Gun, but Vazquez is still behind bars because she informed police that she was “currently on probation and was not authorised to leave the state of Connecticut”.
Later, on March 8, Draper was taken into custody for allegedly hitting the father of her children with a vase that contained rocks.
After an incident last year for attacking a law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, and resisting police, she was charged with felony aggravated battery and at the time was out on bond.
