A court heard yesterday that a terrorist had considered carrying out a large-scale gun attack during Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
During last September’s event, Edward Little, 22, and jihadists discussed getting an AK-47 assault rifle and Mac-10 submachine gun.

The defendant is an Islamic extremist who planned to kill the Christian preacher Hatun Tash at Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park, according to the opening statement of the prosecution’s case by Duncan Penny KC.
The accused intended to kill anyone who was with Hatun Tash as well as any nearby police or soldiers.

Little, of Brighton, acknowledged planning terrorist acts in May. The Old Bailey’s sentencing was postponed while more information was gathered.
