Bed Bath & Beyond’s chief financial officer Gustavo Arnal’s 18th-floor lower Manhattan apartment at 56 Leonard St., where he died by jumping, will likely go on the rental market soon.
According to records, the unit was leased by Arnal, 52, and his wife Alexandra Cadenas-Arnal in 2020 for $17,500 per month. But according to sources who spoke to The Post, at the time of his passing, they were paying about $18,500 to rent it.
The Herzog & de Meuron-designed Tribeca property, which has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, has two distinct terraces: one in the master bedroom and the other in the main living space.
The 60-story structure has earned the moniker “the Jenga Building” for its distinctive appearance, which is best known for the purposefully misaligned apartments that are stacked on top of one another and resemble the popular game.
Photos depict the interior design of the residence, which is over 2,300 square feet in size and offers views of the city skyline.
The living room has 11-foot ceilings, pure white wood floors, and automatic shades installed throughout. The open kitchen contains cabinets with satin etching and a black granite island with stools at the breakfast bar.
A 75-foot pool, a fitness facility, a theatre, cafés, and treatment rooms are among the building’s facilities.
