
A student who was discovered deceased over the weekend on the Colorado State University campus has been named by the coroner.
According to the Larimer County Coroner’s Office, the student was identified as Littleton resident Sydney Meegan, age 18, on Wednesday.
The coroner’s office stated that “there is no threat to the public and this is likely to have been an isolated incidence.”
The coroner’s office stated that the reason and manner of death are still being investigated. On Monday, a forensic autopsy was done by a forensic pathologist.
Police and paramedics were called early on Sunday morning because a student was suffering a medical problem at Durward Hall, according to the university. First responders attempted to save the pupil, who passed away at the spot, but they were unsuccessful.
