Suzuki plans to release the electrified Burgman bike in India. This bike is being marketed as one of the first all-electric two-wheelers from a Japanese manufacturer in Asia.
The e-Burgman will, according to the specifications, use Honda’s swappable Mobile Power Pack e-battery in compliance with Europe’s Swappable Batteries Motorcycle Consortium. Gachaco, a subsidiary of the Big Four (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha), will place charging facilities for the model.
The e-Burgman’s range is allegedly only 44 kilometres on a single charge, making it unsuitable for lengthy journeys. The electric scooter should suit individuals of all heights, with a 30.7-inch saddle height and a curb weight of 324 pounds.
The electric engine has a maximum power output of 5.4 horsepower (hp) and a torque output of 18 Newton meters, which is only adequate for regular road use.
According to Autoby, the India-bound e-Burgman will have a chain end drive. It is also assumed that the remaining regions will use a belt motor.
The electric two-wheeler is dressed in the same Burgman uniform of white and blue. Suzuki’s new e-scooter is expected to be released soon, according to trial demonstrations in Tokyo.
