Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has raised car prices in Pakistan by up to Rs. 263,000 for the third time this month. Suzuki’s best-selling vehicles in Pakistan have seen their prices rise, including the Suzuki Alto, Suzuki Wagon R, Suzuki Cultus, and Suzuki Swift.
The price increase comes after the Federal Government raised the General Sales Tax (GST) on all standard products from 17% to 18%, with immediate effect, while GST on luxury products will be charged at 25%.
According to the company, the new prices for all Suzuki vehicles in Pakistan will go into effect on February 20, 2023. However, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is not the only one to raise their prices in a short period of time, as all other automotive manufacturers have done so several times this month.
Again, the increase in Suzuki car prices in Pakistan applies to all vehicles offered by the company, including the Suzuki Alto, Suzuki Wagon R, Suzuki Cultus, Suzuki Bolan, Suzuki Swift, and Suzuki Ravi, as detailed below.
The company also stated that prices are subject to change without notice and that prices at the time of delivery will apply. Furthermore, the company stated that any applicable government taxes and levies at the time of delivery will be borne by the customers.
