Surah Ar-Rahman being recited at the new parliament building’s opening ceremony is going viral in India more and more.
Today, the new parliament building was officially opened by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the opening ceremony, Pandit pastors and representatives of other religions were also present. Surah Ar-Rahman was recited at this time, to which everyone present listened in silence.
Following the opening, Narendra Modi also expressed his gratitude to the building’s builders.
The Indian Prime Minister said in his opening speech at the structure that it was more than just a building and that it represented the hopes and aspirations of 140 crore people. He added that today was special because the workers’ labor had made the House so grand.
