According to sources, making crucial decisions regarding development funds will hasten the release process.
The Prime Minister and his team are reportedly being presented with proposals to raise government workers’ salaries by at least 50%, raise the minimum wage for workers from 35,000 to 40,000, and boost pension benefits by 30%.
The government advisers believe that since this is the final budget of the current administration before elections must be held, the people should receive full relief, and the cost of petroleum products should be reduced by Rs 100.
