After trolls accused the rapper PnB Rock‘s fiancée of being responsible for his gunshot death, celebrities like Cardi B defended her.
Rakim Hasheem Allen, 30, passed away in the hospital on September 12 after being shot during a robbery at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
His passing occurred a few months after Lil Tjay, a rapper, was shot dead in June in New Jersey during an armed robbery.
Allen lost his life after shots were fired at a downtown eatery called Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles.
While out on a date with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang, he was apparently the target of an armed suspect who wanted his jewels.
Apparently cruel trolls are to blame for Sibounheuang’s demise.
On her own Instagram account, she posted a photo of her dinner and tagged the restaurant, according to TMZ.
Cardi B has hit back, saying: “It’s very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic.
“We should be sending nothing but love to her and his family at this time.”
Allen appeared on a podcast with the music star DJ Akademics earlier this month.
He admitted to staying away from nightclubs and strip clubs in favour of locations where he felt less vulnerable.
Allen remembered the day when a group of people in Fairfax, Louisiana, targeted him and his family during the pandemic.
He said: “They (Gangsters) see me with my family and they think I’m lacking.”
As word of PnB’s passing spread, dozens of tributes were made by music celebrities.
“Rest in Peace, PnB Rock. Your legacy will live on,” tweeted media and entertainment company,
