After a six-year absence, legendary WWE diva Stacy Keibler has made a startling comeback on Twitter.
Up until she had children, George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend was a frequent user of the website.
Naturally, with the birth of her children, tweeting slipped down Keibler’s list of priorities.
Nonetheless, she has returned to the stage amid rumours that she would soon be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The 43-year-old tweeted on Thursday to her 385,000 followers: Hi.
“Been busy the last few years as a mother, wife and raising my kids, but excited to be back and reconnect!”
Her legion of followers were quick to reply, with one saying: “Welcome back, Stacy.”
Another said: “Finally… Stacy Keibler has come back…home.”
And another said: “SHES. BACK.”
One remarked: “Welcome back. Family First.”
Another chimed in: “Omg welcome back! We missed you!”
The rumour that Keibler will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame coincides with her comeback to Twitter.
An excerpt of a report from PW Insider read: “This year’s women’s inductee … is Stacy Keibler.
“Keibler, 43, first entered professional wrestling after a boyfriend suggested she enter a contest World Championship Wrestling was running to add a new member of the Nitro Girls dance troupe.
“She was brought into the WWF in 2001 as part of the WCW contingent that invaded WWF.”
