Due to unpaid bills, the Speedo bus service in Bahawalpur has been shut down as a means of public transportation.
To stop Speedo, the private company wrote to Punjab’s Transport Secretary. Officials from the private company claim that the government’s failure to pay dues is what caused the service to be discontinued.

According to representatives of the private company, the government owes the company more than Rs 160 million in arrears. The closure of accessible transportation options has put residents and students in serious trouble. There were 12 speedo buses running throughout the city for the benefit of the people.
