To assist discover a missing York woman who vanished while walking to her partner’s residence, police have urgently appealed for sightings and information.
Since 8 o’clock on Friday, September 9, when Sophie Kealey, 33, of Kirkham Avenue, claimed to be walking from her address to her partner’s residence on Eboracum Way, she has not been seen.
She didn’t go there, though, and her family, her partner, and her close friends haven’t heard from her since. Sophie is thought to be without money and her medication.
Although calls and texts have been made repeatedly, according to the police, Sophie has not returned them. Additionally, there has been no activity on social media.
Prior to being discovered in Scarborough after taking a train there and in Wheldrake village outside of York, Sophie had been reported missing. Police are urging members of the public to report any possible sightings of Sophie as part of their ongoing search for her in order to confirm that she is okay.
Sophie is described as being white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, of medium frame, with shoulder-length, dyed blonde hair that is actually dark brown.
Additionally, she has tattoos of the names “Ben” and “Summer” on her chest and left shoulder blade, respectively. She was last seen wearing an undisclosed set of clothes.
Please call North Yorkshire Police at 101, option 1, and ask to speak to the Force Control Room if you have any information that could aid in the search for a missing individual. Call 999 to immediately report any sightings.
