The Sony WF-1000XM5 true wireless earbuds, which will replace the Sony WF-1000XM4 TWS earbuds that were released in June 2021, are anticipated to go on sale soon. The comfort of the user will likely take precedence in the upcoming audio wearable. They should also provide options for quicker charging. According to a recent leak, the alleged earbuds will debut with much lighter weight and faster charging hardware. The leak also includes two color options and design renderings of the TWS earbuds.
The Sony WF-1000XM5s are anticipated to go on sale soon and are expected to feature some significant updates, according to a report. Although the leaked images do not indicate a significant redesign, there have reportedly been some notable changes to the specifications.
The Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds are available in black and silver color schemes. The earbuds and case share a similar design with the Sony WF-1000XM4 TWS earbuds, which were also made available in matching color schemes.
According to the leak, the rumored Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds should weigh 5.9 grams instead of the 7.4 grams of the WF-1000XM4 model. To accommodate this change, both the case and the earbuds are said to be smaller in size.
As with the previous model, the Sony TWS earbuds’ total listening time is anticipated to remain at 24 hours. However, it is claimed that the WF-1000XM5 earbuds only require a three-minute charge in the case to provide an hour of listening time. The same function used to need at least five minutes of charging inside the case.
The WF-1000XM5 from Sony is anticipated to have an improved voice pickup feature, either through the use of better microphones or by enhancing processing power. The earbuds should be able to connect to multiple devices simultaneously and should come with multi-point connectivity out of the box. This feature was added to the earlier WF-1000XM4 earbuds as part of a software update.
