As part of the province’s Ramadan Relief Package, the Sindh government has announced a Rs. 2,000 flour subsidy for deserving families across the province through the Benazir Income Support Programme. (BISP).
According to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Provincial Cabinet has approved a Rs. 15.6 billion Ramadan Relief Package for 7,810,482 low-income families enrolled in the Benazir Income Support Programme. (BISP).
Under Sindh’s Ramadan Relief Package, low-income families will be able to purchase Rs. 30 kilogram (kg) flour at Rs. 65 per kg thanks to a Rs. 2,000 subsidy provided during Ramadan.
Those who have not yet registered with the Benazir Income Support Program but believe they are eligible should contact the nearest field office and submit their information. He went on to say that every Tehsil in the province has a BISP office.
When you submit your information to BISP, you will be notified of your eligibility the following working day.
It is worth noting that all other provinces and the Federal Capital have announced a Ramadan Relief Package for the Holy Month. Every other province, on the other hand, provides its citizens with three free bags of wheat flour instead of a cash stipend, as the Sindh Government does.
