Due to the persistent cold that has affected practically all areas of the province, the Sindh government has declared revised schedules for private schools.
Private schools will open at 8:30 AM, per a declaration made by the Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Institutions Sindh (DIRPIS). These hours will be in effect through March 31.

This winter season has seen events across the nation that broke records. New times and dress standards for schools were announced by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). Punjab also modified the school dress code.
On January 11, new schedules for both public and private schools in Islamabad went into force. They will continue to do so till further notice. The hours of operation for single-shift institutions are 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 12:30 PM on Friday.
On Monday through Thursday, morning shifts in double-shift institutions are available from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. Friday classes end at 12:30 PM. In double-shift institutions, evening shifts run from 1:30 PM to 7 PM from Monday through Thursday. On Friday, it starts at 2:30 PM.
To stay warm and shield themselves from the cold, the FDE and Punjab’s School Education Department (SED) also permitted children to dress in any sweater, blazer, coat, jacket, cap, socks, and shoes.
