Naseem Shah has received praise from former Australian pacer Shaun Tait, who rates him as one of the top young fast bowlers he has ever seen.
The 20-year-old prodigy worked closely with Tait, who was Pakistan’s fast-bowling coach, giving him a close-up view of his abilities and potential.
Shaun Tait expressed his admiration for the cricketer from Dir, calling him a fantastic player at a young age with enormous promise, talent, and ball-handling skills.
“He almost has the perfect combination of talent, intelligence, drive, and competitiveness. He is almost perfect, but no one is,” said Shaun Tait.
According to Shaun Tait, Naseem can swing the ball both ways and even execute a reverse swing with the old ball, which is an impressive accomplishment for someone so young.
“Naseem was fantastic, in my opinion. I had a great time working with him.” Shaun Tait continued, “In my opinion, he is almost the best fast bowler I have ever seen at his age.”
The fact that Naseem is regarded as a crucial member of the national bowling unit and played outstanding cricket during the most recent white-ball season should be mentioned.
The 20-year-old has participated in 15 Tests, 8 ODIs, and 19 T20Is, winning 42, 23, and 15 wickets, respectively, while also improving his economy rate and batting average.
