Patrick Stone, Sharon Stone’s younger brother, is said to have died at the age of 57.
According to TMZ, the 64-year-old Basic Instinct star’s sibling passed away from a heart attack.
According to a coroner’s office spokesman, Patrick’s death was classified as a “sudden cardiac death owing to heart illness.”
We don’t yet know if he was found dead or if he was taken immediately to a hospital.
His wife Tasha took to social media to share the heartbreaking news, penning: “My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick went to be with our sweet River… I don’t know what else to say, he was my world.”
She continued, ‘I’m not sure what life is supposed to look like without my husband by my side and quite honestly I don’t want to, but I will of course. I just hope that you always stay by my side watching over Hunter, Kaylee and I.
“Until we meet again I will forever hold you and our wonderful (and some not so wonderful but just as important) memories close to my heart and will visit those memories always. I love you honey babe.”
She continued by mentioning their son River, who tragically died at the age of 11 months two years ago due to organ failure.
“My wish through all of this is that now at least River has his daddy with him and I hope the two of you are having the best time.”
At the moment, Sharon broke the news by stating that her nephew’s organs had failed.
She published a photo of the infant on Instagram along with the caption, “River William Stone – Sept. 8, 2020 – Aug. 30, 2021,” after previously requesting prayers from her followers for a miracle.
Stone’s younger brother Patrick and his wife Tasha have three kids and reside in Ohio. River is their youngest child.
After her nephew’s passing, the Basic Instinct star disclosed that his organ donation had helped save three lives.
Kelly Stone, Sharon’s sister, and Michael Stone, her brother, are both actors who have appeared in films including The Quick and the Dead (1995), Eraser (1996), and Renaissance Man (2021).
