The transport minister announced that there will be more pink buses and that the service will include Karachi and other significant cities in the province. He also praised Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, for his cooperation in carrying out public transportation projects.

Female MPs who spoke at the occasion thought Karachi’s women needed this day because commuting difficulties and women’s safety have long been issues.
Other notable attendees of the occasion praised the dedicated bus service for protecting women from harassment in public buses and assuring their safety.
The attendees of the opening ceremony urged that the services be extended throughout the city, and Marvi Mazhar also called for the establishment of a pink boat service for the benefit of women living on the city’s islands.
