An Oregon mother was sentenced to 30 days in jail after waterboarding her baby before putting him in the freezer as a harsh “test” to see if the baby’s father “gave an f-k at all.”

Sharday McDonald, 30, pled guilty to criminal maltreatment, ID theft, and interfering with a witness after officers determined the baby had been mistreated during a welfare check on Oct. 28, 2021.

Officers arrived at McDonald’s Gresham, Oregon, apartment after receiving reports that a baby had been placed in a freezer and overheard her ranting at the child’s father, Kendrick Neal.

“I’m about to show you real quick. You don’t want him?” McDonald could be heard shouting. “Let me show you about this little f–king baby, I don’t f–king give f–k about,” according to WPDE.

McDonald was sentenced to 30 days behind bars on Tuesday, the outlet adds.

According to Multnomah County Detention Center records, McDonald will be freed on October 6.

On July 28, she pleaded guilty to the charges.

According to an affidavit acquired by Fox Digital, when detectives arrived at her apartment in 2021, McDonald unlocked the door.

According to the records, when investigators questioned McDonald, she said she wasn’t intending to hurt the youngster despite putting him under running water before putting him in the freezer.

When the father came, the officer who arrested her said he reviewed images of the child being harmed. According to the officer, the baby appeared to be fighting to hold his breath as water was poured down his face and over his nose.

After studying the photographs, prosecutors spoke with a pediatrician and concluded that the youngster most likely fought to breathe during the incident.

McDonald, according to KATU, informed the officer that she acted “out of spite.”
