Dr. Shaista Lodhi recalled an uncomfortable encounter she had in Dubai with Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor.
The actor from India embarrassed the former host of Good Morning Pakistan by making unflattering remarks about her appearance.
The Bollywood hunk revealed she had a major crush on him during an interview with Momin Saqib for his talk show Had Kar Di. He even invited her to join him at an event after the interview. Shaista regrettably declined his offer, though.
According to Shaista, who hosts Good Morning Pakistan, she was asked to interview Shahid Kapoor in Dubai. She revealed that her makeup artist used heavy makeup and chose curls for her hair in order to “glam up” for the interview.
Everyone had told the morning show host that she looked “stunning,” so she entered the interview with complete assurance. Shahid Kapoor was unable to identify her when the producers brought out t-shirts with her face for him to sign on location. Shahid awkwardly remarked, “You look different,” after Shaista had hesitantly identified herself as being on the t-shirt.
Shaista admitted to Momin Saqib that she felt embarrassed at the time and found it difficult to carry on with the interview because of the Bollywood star’s unfavorable response.
