The former finance minister declared during a meeting with the Council of Economic and Energy Journalists that he would support Shahid Khaqan Abbasi if he left the PML-N and joined another party.

The Muslim League was initially barred from discussing the performance of the government, but there is now silence on the subject, he claimed, adding that no offers have been made under the caretaker regime; instead, only rumors are being spread.
