The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has released a special commemorative banknote with a face value of Rs. 75 to mark its 75th anniversary.
Governor SBP Jameel Ahmed declared during a ceremony today that this day is extremely important, which prompted the creation of a special Rs. 75 note that will only be released once.
The recently unveiled banknote proudly sports Quaid-e-Azam’s likeness on the front, signifying his significant influence on the history of the country. The note is embellished with a picture of Fatima Jinnah on the back.
Notably, the Rs. 75 banknote also features a picture of a windmill to emphasize the value of renewable energy sources.
The elegant calligraphy on the banknote also highlights the SBP building’s architectural magnificence.
This unique initiative by the SBP honors not only the bank’s 75th anniversary but also the figures in history who have influenced Pakistan and the principles they upheld.
