Saro Imran, Pakistan’s first transgender who got admission in Ph.D. at the University of Westminster, London.
Transgender rights advocate Saro Imran is based in Pakistan. The School of Organizations, Economy and Society (SOES), which administers the programme, accepts applications from students who are interested in conducting research in the general fields of economics, entrepreneurship, and human resource management.
Imran, a native of Punjab, graduated with her Mphil from Bahaudin Zakariya University in Multan a year ago. During her discussion of studying abroad, Saro pledged to keep fighting for the rights of transgender people and their economic advancement so they can contribute to and strengthen the nation’s economy.
