Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which are anticipated to go on sale later this month at the company’s subsequent Galaxy Unpacked event, have appeared online. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 which were introduced by the company last year are expected to be replaced by the company’s upcoming line of foldable phones. This year, the addition of a significantly larger external display to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is the most notable change anticipated. In the meantime, leaked renders of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 have also been discovered before its release.
In advance of the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled to take place in South Korea on June 26, the tipster has shared images of what appear to be official renders of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9. The images also give a hint as to the colors available for the gadgets, which are anticipated to resemble the models unveiled last year quite closely.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is said to have a much larger 3.4-inch outer screen than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which had a 1.9-inch cover display, is the device that is seeing the most significant externally visible hardware change this year. Additionally, it is anticipated that the smartphone will ship with support for optimized Google and Samsung apps that will function on the larger external screen.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 looks remarkably similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 from earlier in the series, according to images of the device. It is demonstrated to have a triple rear camera setup with a minor change to where the LED flash is placed.
A new Snapdragon 8 series flagship chipset and a redesigned hinge are anticipated to be the two most notable updates to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone this year. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are both displayed with the color options of beige, black, green, and purple.
The Galaxy Tab S9 appears to have a display notch, which could house a front-facing camera unit, according to the leaked images of the device. The company’s upcoming tablet lineup is expected to have thin bezels. Both the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are shown to have two rear cameras, and all three tablets are also shown to have a S Pen.
