Even though online rumors and leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra have begun to circulate, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is still a brand-new device. Recent rumors suggested that the telephoto lens on the Galaxy S24 Ultra would offer a 5x optical zoom. The upcoming flagship, however, may employ the same telephoto lens as the model it replaces, according to a recent tip. Additionally, it is rumored to have minor upgrades and a 10x zoom sensor. The quad rear camera system on the Galaxy S23 Ultra is highlighted by a 200-megapixel primary wide camera sensor.
Samsung was anticipated to upgrade the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s zoom capabilities by releasing a 5x zoom camera the following year. However, a recent leak from tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Reve) refutes this claim. The same 3x telephoto sensor found on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, according to him, will be present on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. He also stated that the 10x zoom sensor, which receives minor upgrades, would be the only camera upgrade. According to him, the adjustable 3x to 10x telephoto camera has been scrapped, but Samsung will keep the current four-camera setup in the upcoming phone.
Early in 2024, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to launch alongside the standard Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+.
According to rumors and leaks, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 144Hz refresh rate display and One UI 6.0, which is based on Android 14. It might be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature 200-megapixel sensors with enhanced zooming.
