The Galaxy S23 series is expected to be unveiled at Samsung’s first Unpacked presentation of the year on February 1. The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera specifications are now being hinted at by a new leak. It’s anticipated that the flagship phone will have better portrait video quality. According to reports, the Galaxy S23 Ultra can capture portrait films in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second (fps). The phone is rumoured to have a quad rear camera system with 200 megapixels. It is anticipated that it will run on a customised Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

On Weibo, a well-known tipper by the handle of Ice universe (@UniverseIce) asserted that the next Galaxy S3 Ultra will have an enhanced portrait video mode. The tipper claims that the device can capture portrait videos in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second. This leak would be an improvement above the Galaxy S22 Ultra if it proves to be accurate. The predecessor can only capture 30fps, full-HD portrait films. The forthcoming device is also touted to have greater topic and background separation. Additionally, he asserts that the smartphone’s temperature regulation is “pretty good”.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera stats have been making the rounds for a while. It is anticipated to have a quad back camera system with a 200-megapixel primary sensor, an f/1.7 lens, and OIS capabilities (Optical Image Stabilisation). A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and two 10-megapixel telephoto cameras might also be used in the camera arrangement. A 12-megapixel sensor could be located at the front for selfies.

The 6.8-inch QHD Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to have a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM are predicted to power it. The phone reportedly has 256GB and 512GB of storage.

On February 1, Samsung will host their Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. The new Galaxy S series of smartphones will be introduced at the event, which will begin at 11:30 IST and be livestreamed on the business’s main social media platforms. For the new top Galaxy S smartphones in India, the firm has already begun taking reservations. With a token payment of Rs. 1,999, users can pre-book the handsets.
