Samsung is rumored to release the One UI 6 beta update soon, at the same time that Google is distributing the Android 14 beta 3.1 update to qualified users. The business is currently getting ready to introduce its newest generation of foldable phones. But according to a recent report, eligible users will soon receive the One UI 6 beta update, which is based on Android 14. This year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 series debuted with a skin based on Android 13 called One UI 5.1.
According to a report, Samsung has already begun releasing app updates that include support for One UI 6.0 as soon as the Android 14 beta reaches Platform Stability. This suggests that the Samsung One UI 6.0 beta will soon be available to eligible Samsung Galaxy smartphone users. One UI 6.0 beta will reportedly be released first for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which is based on Android 14. There is a good chance that other eligible devices will receive the update “soon thereafter.”
The report also states that the One UI 6.0 beta may be made available in the third week of July. One UI 6.0’s stable release is anticipated to be released before the year is out.
Google last month made the Android 14 beta 3.1 update available to Pixel users who qualified. The report claimed that Platform Stability is brought by Android 14 Beta 3 on its support page. The upcoming software version has thus attained its final internal and external APIs as well as its final app-facing behaviors.
In February of this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13, is already installed on smartphones.
Meanwhile, a plethora of new features and design enhancements are anticipated in Android 14. According to reports, these include updated custom clock options for the lock screen and an iOS-like battery health monitoring feature.
