The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is anticipated to be the company’s forthcoming flagship series, which it plans to reveal on February 1 during an event called Galaxy Unpacked 2023. The claimed camera samples from the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra have already appeared online, and a Twitter user has also contrasted them with pictures taken with a Google Pixel 7 Pro. The leak contains supposed camera sample images taken in low light and using the smartphone’s specialized zoom camera for the Ultra-branded future Samsung flagship device.
The next Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra variant was spotted being unboxed in a Cotton Flower color in a tweet sent on Twitter by Tipster Edwards Urbina.
The Twitter user then sent a second batch of tweets that appeared to contrast purported photos taken with the Google Pixel 7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones. The images reportedly show the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s selfie camera, low-light back camera, and specialized zoom camera, which is compared to identical circumstances on the Pixel 7 Pro.
A selfie image purportedly taken on the front-facing camera of the Samsung Galaxy S23 is contrasted to another selfie shot purportedly taken on the Google Pixel 7 Pro in the first of these tweets.
The other tweet from Edwards Urbina appears to compare macro photos produced with the Google Pixel 7 Pro with those taken with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. When compared to photos shot with the Pixel 7 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s sensors appear to be able to collect more light, resulting in brighter and more colorful photos.
The Twitter user also appears to be contrasting the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s low-light camera capability. With the Samsung Galaxy S23 producing darker, noisier photographs than the Pixel 7 Pro, the latter appears to be falling short in this area.
It’s difficult to judge given the topic and evident Twitter compression, but two comparison tweets showing night images taken without a tripod appear amazing because they are clear and crisp even in the darkest areas. Even in a dark setting, the photos of the plant containers seem excellent, and the brick wall is very detailed.
A few zoom samples from the Galaxy S23 Ultra were also provided by Urbina. The S23 Ultra will continue to use the same periscope zoom camera as the 2022 smartphones, according to leaked spec sheets. Instead of making hardware changes, Samsung may make improvements by tweaking its software. Even while these samples are certainly remarkable, the rumoured primary sensor update is more intriguing.
