The Galaxy S23 series was introduced by Samsung in February of this year. Although the flagship phones have improved cameras, some Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ users have complained that the cameras blur when taking close-up photos. Samsung has now acknowledged the problem on its community page for Europe. A software update will soon address this issue, according to the company. The South Korean company has also provided an explanation of the problem’s origin and a solution to stop the blurring.
Samsung has acknowledged on its community page that close-up images from the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ appear a little blurry around the subject. The manufacturer added that the S23 and S23+ rear wide-angle camera has a bright aperture, which causes the background of the photos to appear a little blurry. According to Samsung, a software update will be used to resolve the problem.
Samsung has also provided some workaround solutions for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+’s camera blur problem. Samsung advises users to either hold the phone vertically or take pictures from a slightly greater distance. The background may appear blurry if the phone is held horizontally or at an angle, it has been added.
In February of this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. A 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate ranging from 48Hz to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz in game mode is one of many similarities between the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. A modified version of Qualcomm’s newest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, powers both phones.
The phones have three cameras on their backs: a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom. There is a 12-megapixel selfie camera on the phones as well.
