Mohammad Rizwan, the Multan Sultans captain, showed his steadfast dedication to his ideals and convictions by declining to wear a jersey with the insignia of their sponsor, Wolf777 News.
Rizwan covered the sponsor’s insignia on his shirt in spite of the potential consequence.
Cooperation between the Multan Sultans and Wolf777 news, a sports website run out of Wolf777news.com, has been signed. Yet, if you search for Wolf777 on Google, Wolf777casino.com, a website for a live online casino, is also in the top few search results. In order to advertise their services, betting or casino websites frequently employ fake news websites.

Rizwan’s abrupt change of heart is surprising considering that he sported the Wolf777 News emblem on his shirt during the PSL 8 group stages.
The Wolf777 News-sponsored Multan Sultans released the following statement last year after the Pakistan Cricket Board contacted them for explanations in response to rumors that its partners were promoting betting/gambling through their individual websites:
Multan Sultans: “Wolf777 News is a sports website that is attempting to compete regionally with other sports news websites, according to Multan Sultans. There are no links or tabs on Multan Sultans’ portal that point to any websites that offer betting or gambling, refuting absolutely any claims that Wolf777 News is associated with either activity. We are exclusively affiliated with Wolf777News.”
“As a responsible organization, we are aware of our responsibilities and will neither be affiliated with nor support a partner that encourages betting or gambling.”
If Sultans feel the website has no relation to the aforementioned casino website, then it is unclear why they let their captain hide the emblem.
