The internet occasionally produces films showing how people provide assistance to animals and aquatic life. These videos not only renew one’s confidence in mankind, but they also inspire hope for coexistence between people and animals.
This video, uploaded by IAS officer Supriya Sahu, has been added to those clips. In the video, local fishermen and forest rangers in Tamil Nadu are seen assisting several turtles in returning to the water. The men can be seen assisting the turtles as some of them struggle to reach the water. Most likely, the turtles were caught in the fishing nets alongside the catch.
