Jesse Sainz-Camacho, 17, was abducted from his house by armed robbers earlier this month; his remains were discovered in a rural part of Maricopa County, according to Phoenix police.
According to the authorities, the teenager’s body was found on Monday. The Phoenix Police Homicide Unit will take over the investigation, it was reported on Wednesday.
On Monday, December 19, Sainz-Camacho was abducted from his Phoenix home during an armed attack. According to the police, two armed assailants made their way inside the structure and shot another individual who was inside the house.
The teenager was last saw being coerced into a dark-colored sedan as it departed the house and headed somewhere unknown.
There is currently no information available regarding the suspects, and police are asking that anyone with information get in touch with them or Silent Witness.
