A launch of the Redmi K70 series is anticipated for later in the year. The lineup is anticipated to succeed in the December 2022-released Redmi K60 series. The Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E were among the models offered. The Redmi K60E had slightly fewer features than the other models, such as a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and a triple-rear camera system with a resolution of 48 megapixels. According to the tipster, the Redmi K70 lineup’s SoC details are all that are mentioned in the leaks, but nothing regarding the camera.
The Redmi K70 series of smartphones are reportedly scheduled to debut later this year, according to a report based on information provided by the tipster. According to the tipster, the base Redmi K70 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Since the previous series debuted around this time last year, it is assumed that the lineup will be revealed in December.
Although this leak makes no mention of the Redmi K70 Pro or even the possibility of a Redmi K70E model, it is noteworthy that the Redmi K60 Pro model debuted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The E model had the most basic features in the lineup, as was already mentioned.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC in the base Redmi K60, along with an Adreno GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, power the device. The phone’s 6.67-inch 2K (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED display had a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, just like the other models in the series.
A 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens are all included in the Redmi K60 Pro model. A 16-megapixel sensor is included with the front camera. Similar optics specifications are shared by the base model, but it has a 64-megapixel primary sensor instead.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the Redmi K60 Pro, which also supports wired fast charging at 120W and wireless fast charging at 30W. The 5,500mAh battery in the base model is bigger, but it also supports 67W wired and 30W wireless fast charging.
