In August of last year, Redmi K50 Ultra with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC was released in China. The smartphone has not yet been released in other international markets but rumors of a potential successor, the Redmi K60 Ultra, have already begun to circulate online. Most recently, the Redmi K60 Ultra’s schematics, which reveal its design and specifications, leaked online. The images give away thin bezels, a rectangular camera module at the back, and a display hole punch. Triple rear cameras are anticipated to be included in the Redmi K60 Ultra. It might have a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC as its power source.
The Redmi K60 Ultra’s schematics were posted on Weibo by a Tipper. It is shown to have a flat design with thin bezels and a hole punch cutout in the center to house the selfie camera. On the back panel, a rectangular camera module with three sensors and an LED flash unit is visible. In addition to the small third sensor, the primary and secondary sensors can be seen arranged in two sizable circular cutouts.
Recently, the IMEI database revealed the Redmi K60 Ultra under model number 23078RKD5C. It is anticipated to make its debut this July. The device will have a 1.5K resolution display and possibly use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 SoC, according to earlier leaks. It is rumored to have a metal frame and be able to handle 100W of wired charging.
Redmi K60 Ultra is anticipated to offer improvements over the Redmi K50 Ultra, which debuted in August of last year and had a starting price of CNY 2,999.
The 6.7-inch OLED display on the Redmi K50 Ultra, which debuted last year, has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC. It has three rear cameras, the primary one of which is 108 megapixels. A 5,000mAh battery powers it, and 120W wired charging is supported.
