A hole-punch cutout is visible on the display of the rumored Redmi 12, which is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. Three different color options could be available for the 4G smartphone. The triple rear camera setup on the Redmi 12 is expected to be powered by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
A tipper Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) leaked a Redmi 12 4G unboxing video. According to the leak, the phone will be available for purchase in the next 10 days for $155. It is allegedly available in the colors midnight black, polar silver, and sky blue.
The retail box for the phone is displayed in the allegedly Redmi 12 4G video. It is displayed with a hole-punch display in the sky blue color option. According to the video, the smartphone’s left spine houses the power button and volume rockers, while the right spine houses the sim tray. It seems to have a triple rear camera setup with AI support and an LED flash as well.
Recently, the Redmi 12 was discovered on the Redmi Portugal website. The listing verified that the phone has a 5,000mAh battery and 18W wired charging support. Additionally, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is reportedly included.
It’s anticipated that the alleged smartphone will replace the Redmi 10. The latter was introduced in March of last year, with the entry-level 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
