The bereaved family of a woman murdered in a hit-and-run accident outside of a takeaway called the victim “a wonderful girl.”
They said, “Rebecca Steer, 22, had a grin and a giggle that made everyone love her.
She was one of two people who were struck by a vehicle early on Sunday morning outside of Grill Out in Owestry, Shropshire, when a car mounted the pavement and took off.
Rebecca passed very soon after getting to the hospital. The second victim is still being treated for serious wounds in the hospital.
“The most loving, talented, and kind-hearted person you could ever desire to know,” was how her relatives described her.
They added: “We are all completely devastated by the loss of our beautiful girl Rebecca.
“She always had a smile and a laugh that made everybody love her.
“She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.
“She was the best daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend anyone could ask for.
“Rest in Peace beautiful girl.“
