On June 6, Realme C53 will go on sale in Malaysia. The upcoming C-series smartphone will join the Realme C55, which debuted with the Mini Capsule feature earlier this year in March. The Mini Capsule, which has been compared to Apple’s Dynamic Island feature unveiled with the iPhone 14 series last year, will also be featured on the new device. Realme published the C53’s full specifications on the company website and listed it in Malaysia. It will be offered in a single design and two color variations.
The 6.74-inch Realme C53’s display has a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a maximum brightness of 650nits. According to the official listing, the phone is powered by an unidentified octa-core SoC with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU clocked up to 1.82GHz. It comes pre-installed with Android 13 and Realme UI T Edition.
The Realme C53 has two 50-megapixel rear camera sensors on the back, each with AI-enabled features. The square camera module supports the slightly elevated circular dual camera units and an LED flash panel. A center-aligned waterdrop notch is where the 8-megapixel front camera sensor for selfies and video calls is located.
The 5,000mAh battery in the smartphone supports 33W wired SuperVOOC fast charging. It has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a security-enhancing side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Additionally supported by the dual nano SIM phone is GPS, NFC, WiFi, and Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. It has two SIM card slots and a separate microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 2TB of memory expansion.
A single 6GB + 256GB configuration of the Realme C53 is available, and it has an expandable virtual RAM feature that allows users to add up to 6GB more RAM from unused storage. Champion Gold and Mighty Black are two color options for the phone. The phone has dimensions of 167.3mm x 76.7mm x 7.49mm and weighs about 182 grams.
