On November 1, 2022, at the bowling facility 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas, Takeoff, also known as Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and killed.
Ball and Quavo were reportedly playing dice when a dispute broke out, murdering the musician. The same reports state that officers arrived at the crime scene at 2:30 in the morning.
Ball was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other persons were hurt and sent to the hospital, according to Houston Police.
According to the most recent information on the event, a video of Quavo talking to a 911 operator and asking, “What does she need to do?” has gone viral. A nurse by profession, the caller identifies herself and offers to assist Ball.
Dispatchers can be heard discussing the incident and claiming that five bullets were fired in an audio recording that TMZ had obtained.
Ball was never seen with a woman during the course of his brilliant career, suggesting that he was single when he passed away. He gained notoriety, though, when rumours that he was dating Katy Perry started to circulate in 2017.
At a gathering in 2017, Ball made his debut alongside the performer. After working together on Perry’s song Bon Appetit and sharing a stage on Saturday Night Live, the allegations began to circulate. Ball announced that he was currently single on his Instagram page at the time, but neither Ball nor Perry verified the rumour.
He afterwards uploaded a photo with the caption “Loner.” But he then removed the posting.
In 2018, there was yet another allegation that Ball was dating the rapper Dreamdoll. But after the persons involved remained silent, the rumour disappeared.
Additionally, Lakeya Darshay, Heather Rose, and Rubi Rose were connected to Ball. These reports, however, have not been supported by any evidence, therefore they are all presently just hearsay.
