Just hours before he passed away at the age of 28, TAKEOFF published an unsettling Instagram story with a song called Stop Breathing in it.
A spokesman revealed that the rapper from the group Migos was shot and killed early on Tuesday during a private party held in a bowling alley in Houston, Texas.
Before the awful news of his passing became public, he had posted a picture of himself smoking outside the bowling alley while listening to Playboi Carti.
In addition to ominously rapping about gunshots and death, he has also enjoyed success as a solo artist and with the successful group Migos.
The following line is in the lyrics to one of Migos’ most well-known songs, Stir Fry: “Of course, I must keep watch out via my bird eye.
“No casket, drop dead fresh and I got dead guys.”
The Georgia native rapped on the “Devil trying to take his blessings” in his 2018 single Last Memory.
He rapped, “N***** in the hood shootin’ twice. “Watch my n***** in the ghetto shoot accurately,”
Quavo, 31, a bandmate and uncle of Takeoff, was reportedly present when the fatal shooting occurred on Tuesday.
The two were reportedly rolling dice when the shooting took place.

Around 40 to 50 people attended the private party, and two more were brought to the hospital.
Since the inquiry is still underway, it is unknown what caused the shooting.
Musicians sent a stream of anxious comments onto Takeoff’s Instagram page as they hoped the “news wasn’t real.”
“God, please tell me this isn’t true,” said Lil Pump.
Hip-hop artist Kida The Great said, “Plz don’t be real, god.”
Tweeted DJ First Class: “Takeoff and rest in heaven. F**k dude!! I’m struggling to find the right words to say because this really hit me hard.”
Curly Head Monty, a well-known musician, also posted: “King, RIP. Too soon gone. This has to stop, folks.”
Takeoff began rapping in 2008, and in August 2011, Migos released their debut mixtape.
Versace was the group’s most well-known song, and in 2016, Bad and Boujee became their first number-one record.
The popular tracks MotorSport, Stir Fry, and Walk It Talk It were written by Migos.
