A California man who was allegedly in possession of child pornography when he was detained in July has now reportedly been arrested once more, this time on rape-related charges.
Ramon Elias-Zavala was detained after being apprehended on August 9 on suspicion of rape, according to a statement from the Covina Police Department.
Elias-Zavala was previously detained on July 15 after police carried out a search warrant at his residence due to allegations of the presence of child pornography. Detectives claimed that they discovered over the course of the inquiry that Elias-Zavala had been in contact with a young girl they had located in the Covina region.
The Covina Police Department is searching for any potential Elias-Zavala victims. At 626-384-5621, call Detective Manny Esquivel if you have any information.
