The Ramadan moon was seen, and according to the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, the first day of the holy month will fall on Thursday. (tomorrow).
At a press conference on Wednesday night in Peshawar, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, made the announcement.
The Ramadan moon was reportedly not seen in Bangladesh or India either.
But the fasting month will begin on Thursday in Saudi Arabia and the majority of the Gulf states. (tomorrow).
