Rachel Stuhlmann, a tennis influencer, mentioned Rafa Nadal in her most recent social media clip.
The 31-year-old, known as the “world’s hottest tennis influencer,” has amassed a sizable internet fan base as a spokesperson for the game.
And in a recent video, she praised the United Cup for being a mixed-gender competition while sporting a low-cut black top.
She praised the event and declared, “I am totally delighted that it is a mixed gender team event.
“I mean, imagine being team-mates with Rafael Nadal. Good for you, Paula Badosa, good for you.”
The USA defeated Italy 4-0 to win the inaugural United Cup over the weekend.
Stuhlmann has disclosed the three things she is most anticipating in 2023.
She posted: “Pro tennis is back (finally) and here’s what I’m currently excited about.
“1. The success of the inaugural @unitedcuptennis (mixed-gender team event)
“2. The @australianopen in 10 days.
“3. For ‘Break Point’ to come out on Netflix.”
Stuhlmann has amassed an astounding 262,000 Instagram followers, making him the sport’s top influencer.
Her own experience on the court, though, dates back to the age of five, when she first picked up the racket.
When Stuhlmann was a teenager, she had achieved national prominence on the USTA Junior Circuit and went on to compete at the NCAA Division I level.
And although while the American thinks playing tennis could have led to a successful career, she did not enjoy the busy travel schedule.
“I knew I was good enough and could eventually get there,” Stuhlmann told SunSport.
“But I thought the reality was that it would take me five to seven years to get to the top and I didn’t want to live the lifestyle that came along with playing in small cities and essentially living out of a car.”
Nadal is now preparing for the Australian Open, which begins on January 16.
The 36-year-old Spaniard, who defeated Daniil Medvedev in a thrilling final despite trailing by two sets, will be defending the title he earned the previous year.
