After playing a “scary” unanticipated role, WWE Arora host Quetzalli Bulnes has departed the organisation.
During a live concert in Mexico, the 29-year-old announcer apparently invited a YouTube wrestler to jump the barricade.
Bulnes did interviews for WWE Brunch and served as the company’s spokesperson in Spanish.
She also served as the face of Arora on YouTube, which offers Spanish RAW and SmackDown recaps.
However, Bulnes has now made it official that she has quit WWE following an incident in Mexico City in October.
According to reports, she wanted to give one of her friends, Spanish YouTuber Falbak, an unscheduled appearance on the program.
Bulnes encouraged him to do so, and Byron Saxton, who was in the ring at the moment, called for security as he leaped the barricades.
Dave Meltzer detailed per F4WOnline: “There was a scary incident that angered some fans in attendance.
“Quetzalli Bulnes, host of WWE Ahora on YouTube, wanted to give an unplanned spot on the show to one of her friends, a wrestling YouTuber from Spain named Falbak, who was in ringside.
“Falbak jumped the barricade after Quetzalli encouraged him to do so.
“Although Quetzalli told them not to, Byron Saxton summoned security to try and apprehend him.
“Byron Saxton’s face was one of terror, followed by fury toward Quetzalli for this circumstance, of which he, obviously, was unaware,” the author writes.
Wrestling-focused Falbak’s channel has more than 500k subscribers.
According to rumours, WWE was not made aware of the planned spot by Bulnes and Falbak in advance.
Bulnes reportedly said the following to fans in a since-deleted TikTok video: “I’m no longer employed by the business where I was a host.
“I have to accept that I’m a little depressed and lost. I have no idea where I’m going.”
