It was recently decided to renovate and enlarge the saints’ shrines at a meeting that the Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi presided over. An online donation portal will be created as part of these efforts to make contributions easier.
The portal’s development has been assigned to the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). It will offer a variety of online payment options to accommodate people living abroad who want to donate food or leave garlands at the shrines.
The CM has also given instructions to upgrade the shrines’ entrance and exit points. A designated waiting area and parking facility will be built close to the shrine of Baba Bulleh Shah to accommodate the needs of visitors. The Multan shrine of Shah Shams Tabrez will also begin renovation and expansion in accordance with the CM’s instructions.
The CM has demanded the creation of a plan for the renovation and restoration of the Chiniot Shahi Mosque, highlighting the significance of maintaining historical significance.
The CM has stated that the mosque must be kept in its original condition while preserving its historical significance. The idea of restoring Ustad Daman’s home in the walled city has also been carefully considered.
