The Punjab Police Department has challenged the claim that Fawad Chaudhry, a senior PTI leader, and former Information Minister, was named in a theft and pipe breakage case. The police have clarified that Fawad Chaudhry is not involved in any such case.
Fawad Chaudhry was explicitly denied involvement in the theft and pipe breakage case by Multan Police, who stated that no one had been named in connection with the incident.

Separately, the police filed a report with the Lahore High Court regarding 11 cases filed against Fawad Chaudhry. According to the report, three cases were filed against him in Multan Cantt and one in Jalilabad Multan.
