Five intermediate textbooks will be changed in order to bring them into compliance with the highest international standards, according to the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC).
Details indicate that the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) was instructed to introduce new books for mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science at a recent PBCC meeting.
In a formal notification, the PBCC instructed the PCTB to take immediate action to adopt certain international standards for books, negotiate copyright/royalty agreements, and begin the printing process in order to guarantee the timely availability of these books for our students.
The BISEs of Punjab have already adopted the internationally renowned biology textbook “An Inquiry into Biological Life” for Intermediate students, which is significant.
The PBCC finalized the dates for the annual matriculation exams’ result declarations in a separate development.
On July 31, the results for the tenth grade will be released. The ninth-grade results will be released on August 22.
