The brand-new HBL Pakistan Super League 8 trophy, was unveiled today in an eye-catching and unforgettable ceremony at the historic Shalimar Gardens by the Chair of the PCB Management Committee, Mr. Najam Sethi, in the presence of franchise owners, HBL representatives, and elite cricketers, conveyed the national team’s motto, artistry, recognition, and prestige.
The 24-karat Supernova Trophy, as it will be known, was produced in Pakistan and is a testament to the nation’s expert workmanship and the Pakistan Cricket Board’s commitment to helping out regional companies.
The national cricket team’s motto, Unity, Passion, and Strength, is represented by the three pillars of the trophy, which are each adorned with 9,907 sparkling zircon stones. The main pillar at the back of the trophy is further embellished with crystals, signifying the commitment and hard work that has gone into ensuring the team’s success.
The HBL PSL is extremely dear to me, and it has always been my dedication and endeavor for it to become larger, better, and stronger each year, says Mr. Najam Sethi, Chair of the PCB Management Committee.
We chose to create a unique trophy that captures our spirit as a proud nation and introduce it at the Shalimar Gardens, a national treasure and a source of pride for all of us, in light of this and to also honor the pinnacle PCB event taking place in front of home supporters.
“The Supernova Trophy is a source of inspiration for the next cricket generations and a monument to the fervor and tenacity of the Pakistani people.
The HBL PSL trophy has evolved into a symbol of quality and accomplishment, something that players and teams seek to hoist and hold aloft in triumph each year. Its construction was a real labor of love, and as the league’s popularity grows.
“I have no doubt that the players will perform at their highest level as a result of the extra incentive and motivation that this prestigious award will give them, making this year’s event the most thrilling, captivating, and enjoyable for all cricket fans and followers both inside and outside of Pakistan,” the author says.
