Wahab Riaz will be ready to play for Peshawar Zalmi in the next HBL Pakistan Super League eighth season (PSL). A PCB spokesperson verified the news.
Pakistan’s fast bowler was been named sports minister in the temporary administration of Pakistan’s Punjab government. On the evening of February 12, he was scheduled to take the oath of office as Sports Minister.
Wahab’s participation was called into question when sources close to him stated that the left-arm pacer will be unable to represent Zalmi in the competition owing to the pressure of increasing obligations as minister.
Caretaker Chief Mohsin Naqvi has consented to hold the oath ceremony after the end of the premier league, while Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB management committee, had requested that it be held earlier.
Following the dissolution of the legislature and the conclusion of Pervez Elahi’s term as chief minister, chief minister Mohsin Naqvi appointed the aforementioned individual as part of an 11-member temporary cabinet.
