Tahir Baig, a rookie batsman for Lahore Qalandars, is keen to make his Pakistan Super League (PSL) season debut memorable by leading his club to victory.
He expressed gratitude to the reigning champions for giving him and other young players a strong platform on which to demonstrate their potential.
“I’m having a huge day today. I’m eager to score a lot for my team and create a lasting impression on everyone “said he.
He batted first with Fakhar Zaman in his first game, scoring 32 runs off of 26 deliveries while hitting five boundaries.
Qalandars were 62-1 in 7.4 overs at the time of the report, with Fakhar still unbeaten on 28 off 18 balls.
